Country Risk, Political Stability and Economic Stability in Argentina 1982-1995

Abstract

Assuming that political decisions have a major impact on the economic and financial development of any country, the article analyzes the evolution of the relation between politics and economic development in Argentina along the period 1982-1995. “Country risk” stands as one of the key indicators for assessing internal stability and attracting investments.
