Abstract

The most significant background in Argentinean history regarding the policy of political cadres training was formulated (although never effectively implemented or widespread adopted) under the peronist government, and was based primarily on the ideology reflected in the constitutional text of 1949 and delegated to the university. antecedents like this one show that the education and training of political cadres has been a recurrent concern of the Argentine state, but the frequent and lengthy disruptions of democratic rule, at least until its return in the early 80s, became the realization of the project unviable. Based on this precedent, the study of the policy-oriented training of political cadres under the Peronist government expressed in the Constitution of 1949, and the ideas from which this policy has been institutionalized in different moments of Argentine history, requires to regain some discussions about the educational and formative state, its meanings and purposes related to the struggle for political power.
