Abstract

The article studies the political and social effects of the intervention of civil society organizations that frame their actions as right claims. In particular, the article analyzes the new subjects and actors that have emerged, why they have acquired a new and critical role, and the effects of their actions on political dynamic. The study shows how right framed discourses allow these organizations to legitimize their interventions, to overcome restrictions to collectively organize and to express malaise with the existing forms of representation of interests. The consequences that this form of intervention is having in the development of political conflicts and in the exercise of representative authority are also analyzed.
