Abstract

This article seeks to analyze the meaning and content of “politics” from a sociological view, defining it as a “social practice and relationship” based on the exercise of power relations among members of a specific society. It also understands that politics stands as a fundamental factor in the process of social production and reproduction. In other words, that politics and society feed off each other.
