What do we Mean by "Political Theory"?

Abstract

This article seeks to understand the meaning of a central concept in both Political Science and Political Philosophy. At first, its two components —“theory” and “politics”— are separated in order to be studied individually. Later, the term “political theory” is fully addressed and defined as the study of the basic interactions of social agents. These interactions involve power relations, forms of condensation and different societal aggregates.
