The author offers a general view of Argentine lack of security. Both “political laziness” and the lack of decision are identified as the insecurities main causes, as well as wrong strategies towards the punishment of those who commit crimes, and the rise of organized crime regarding drugs and weapons traffic. Claiming for best institutions to provide security, the author suggests the need to adopt concrete measures towards the general benefit of society, and discards applying ineffective solutions with electoral purposes.
