Abstract

The return of the Peronism to power was not only a political fact deeply significant at the domestic level, but that claimed an international relevance, by which implied and/or could lead for a conflict and intensely contested region. The importance is reflected both in the ceremony of assumption, which involved a huge amount of international delegations, as in the great coverage and journalistic impact at the global level. This paper describes the inauguration and its impact in the international press as internal political symbol —stage of a dispute between the lines of the Peronism— and as an element of analysis of argentinian international relations in the context of the Cold War.
