Libya, From the Green era to Democracy?

Abstract

The Arab Spring has been analyzed from different approaches, many of which identify their differences with previous revolutionary processes in the region. Moreover, there are new elements that characterize this regional political blooming, for instance the impacts —direct and indirect— of the latest international financial and economic crisis, that determined the political behavior of Western powers regarding Arab Spring and the case of Libya in particular.
