Isn't Berlin Paris? Some Observations on the Public Debate in Today's Germany

Abstract

The article describes some of the current public debates motivated by the conflicts between the migrant Islamic communities and the rest of society inGermany. The purpose of that review is to show how the new conflicts are reshaping the collective perception and the public and policy agendas around the problem of cultural integration.
