The program of the political parties

Abstract

This article refers to the current state of Latin American political parties from the perspective of its programs and its configuration based solely on the opinions of its members. After an introduction on the changes occurred in Latin American parties during the last two decades of the 20th century, both at individual and systemic level, it addresses two elements of the programs. These are the programmatic axes and the ideological polarization. The aim is to construct a classification of parties adhering to these two elements.
