New Political Scenarios for New Parties. A Critical Approach to the Argentine Party System

Abstract

The first part of the article is dedicated to the discussion of the hypothesis that supports the normalization of Argentine party system in a left-right scale. Next, the author makes an analysis of the Argentine party system after the 1995 elections and the role that traditional players —PJ and UCR— played, as well as raising political actors (Frepaso).
