The Bicentennial of social policy. New models or old strategies?

Abstract

This article explores the social policies from the last year of goverment in Argentina, paying special attention to the analysis of the social programme implemented and if this programme are in the direction to fullfil the goals indicated for the bicentenary. It examines the limits of the salary relationship, when exist, in the way to reduce the poverty and social exclusion inArgentinain the frame of an important economical recuperation, stressing the necessity of a new definition of the social policies system, which includes universal and wide-ranging policies
