Abstract

This article aims to examine the existence of a dual-linkage channel between Argentina and Chile during the period 1973-1976: the formal, established by government actors (presidents, ministers and diplomats from both countries) and the informal, consisting of links between Argentine and Chilean actors from both the government level (representatives of intelligence and security agencies) and non-governmental organizations (officers of the armed forces and militant groups of the extreme left and right).
